![]() ![]() Each time it would not start a jump was required, and then the car would drive fine. This happened about once a month for the next 6 months, with the "stabilitrak off" message occasionally popping up while driving. Jumping the car was an instant fix, and the vehicle ran fine again for about 3 weeks. We replaced the battery and thought the problem was fixed, but about two months later I went out in the morning to a dead car again. Several months later I went to start the car and it was completely dead. The next time I started the car the message was gone. I continued driving with the message and parked as normal. ![]() The first problem occurred about a year ago, when a message stating "stabilitrack off" appeared while driving on the interstate. Please search it, I am not alone, there are others experiencing this and are blogging online about it. My friend rebuilt his and hasn't had issues in 2yrs, I've replaced mine 3 times in the past month and I'm still having these issues. No matter where I went or how soon after replacing everything, the battery would die, I'm assuming it's something with the alternator at this point. The lights will flicker, and sometimes you can't even tell car is actually on because nothing in the car will power on, seems to mostly do it in cool weather. My radio has not come back on since, I replaced the radio, within a week that radio would not power on as well. Every time the battery dies, it affects something else as well. I searched online(mystery behind dying battery in a 07 Saturn Vue) and to my amazement, there are hundreds of people with the exact same issue. My friend here, after hundreds of dollars, finally sold hers to a scrap yard. I'm out of funds and patience so now the car is just sitting. My friend in kansas had the original factory alternator rebuilt, and hasn't had a issue since(2yrs), after dealing with it for 4 months. I've been star fed in the rain, snow, and all hours of the night with my kids due to this issue. Took it to a gm dealer, they guaranteed all parts, after spending countless funds and times, I am still having the issue, a day after replacing everything brand new again. My friend here, hers does it as well, and so did my friend in kansas. If I go into the store, I will need a jump. After replacing the alternator and the battery, next day I will still need a jump. I purchased it after seeing a friend with one and I loved it. While driving if the issues are really bad and if I have to drive long distance I will try to use cruise controll but it will not engage. I have been left stranded more than I care to admit. When the vehicle is in park, I will try to turn the vehicle on and then just tap on the brain compartment above the battery and sometimes this works. I have taken to 3 mechanics but they cannot replicate the issue. I also replaced the wheel sensors to no avail. I have replaced the battery twice and the alternator twice and this helped for 2 months then the problem persisted. Then when I turn the car off I will be unable to get the key out or turn the vehicle on. This will cause the car to loose power while driving. When I am turning the steering wheel gets very hard to turn and will turn off the radio. ![]() I have lost control of my vehicle while driving twice but was able to pull over after a few seconds. "stabilitrak" warning light has not turned off. While I am driving I have had intermittent incidents that cannot be replicated. ![]()
